Due to the lunch of AMD Phenom X4 II, the market leader of Intel apparently forced their prices of Quad-core processors.
According to Intel's new price list, Core 2 Quad Q9650 decreased from 525$ to 317$. Its a huge difference of 40 %. Below you can check the remaining list of affected processors

AMD is giving good fight to intel .They just released 2 model now. AMD is releasing other models in the first half of 2009. So we can think of more price difference after some time. !!
