Windows 7 is officially finished (RTM)

Its time to move from RC to RTM. Windows 7 is Released to Manufacturing. The Microsoft Confirmed that the build string will be 7600.16385.090713-1255.

TechNet/MSDN subscribers will get this build on August 6th in English, with the other languages being released on October 6th.

2.66 GHz Intel Core i5 (Lynnfield) to cost 196$

So, finally we got the pricing list of Lynnfield which is ready to lunch on September 6,2009.smile_nerd

The cheapest mode, Core i5 750 @ 2.66 GHz, which has 8 MB L3 cache will be available for 196 $. This looks like a decent pricing for new CPU,but Intel will also lunch some other Lynnfield models too.

These CPU’s will use the socket LGA1156, and triple channel memory controller.

Apple has sold 5.2 million iPhones in the third quarter of 2009. The company hits revenue of 12 billion U.S dollars thus nearly revenue increased upto 12 % compared to last year.

Intel's 32-nm CPU: 4 GHz at 0.83 volts?

Intel is preparing a energy efficient, 45 nm Lynnfied Core 2 quad-core CPU's on this September. They already planned to introduce 32 nm Clarkdale C2Q core CPU's early 2010


Some of the information of this processor is already revealed by an Asian overclocker.
He is the first to test the overclocking capabilities of a Clarkdale and he went upto 4 GHz on air cooling. Coaler used just 0.83 volt to reach 4 GHz.

The CPU-Z picture also revealed the details Clarkdale family and processor is a Dual core which has 4 threads , L2 cache of 256 KB per core ( same as Nehalem family), and 4 MB of L3 Cache.
