Buffalo released DDR3 with 2200 MHz

Buffalo company, after Christmas, released a new pair of DDR3 modules with 2200 Mhz . This is the fastest RAM made today. But only drawback is, it requires high input voltage.

This is the new "FireStix FSI2200D3K-K2G" at considerable 2.1 volts. Normally DDR3 Ram requires 1.8 Volts. This 0.6V difference is very considerable size. Because of high voltage it can be used at timings 9-9-9-24. Its really helpful for overclockers. This 2*1 module will soon appear in the market. The price is not out.

Intel Still Rules

Hypertransport is not AMD's architecture. The technology is used by AMD and Transmeta in x86 processors,

AMD is still paying license fees to Intel for using Intel's X86 architecture !! you know that !! :-?

Dont compare with Intel Core i7 and Deneb. Becase Deneb is going to release in Next year. So its not possible to get the exact performance of deneb (2008 news,, cant sasy, the engineering samples are not out yet..) The release is very near...2009 Feb... !!

Deneb 4.4 ghz ,(higher clocks) and core i7 2.4 Ghz !!

Big profits are coming from 4xxx series. (ATI) to our AMD !!

That is one P4 Northwood core processor.

Northwood core was introduced in January 2002.

Intel stopped L3 cache and Hyperthreading concept because the core then was not able to fully utilize these two.

Now, Nehalem has superb core, wider bus, lot of bandwidth, they had a chance to try L3 cache and Hyperthreading and it worked wonders. Hyperthreading is giving 30% increase in performance in 3d applications.

Intel still rules....

But
But....

Only The probs is..... Money.... !!!

ECS GeForce 9800 GTX+ Hydra, Liquid Cooled SLI

When we think about ECS and their product lines, we typically expect a budget-minded approach.  Solid products at reasonable prices that don't exactly wow the consumer, but don't hit them hard in the wallet either.  The ECS X48T-A motherboard that we looked at a few weeks ago was one of the first steps by ECS to change that image, although a few missteps with the construction as well as some overclocking issues didn't overly sway us to their new way of thinking.

Thus, we were a bit surprised when we first heard about the ECS GeForce 9800 GTX+ Hydra - a twin pack of high-end graphics cards consisting of two GeForce 9800 GTX+ cards combined with liquid-cooling.  The 9800 GTX+ is the upper level of the 9xxx series, with the plus denoting an extra bump in the clock speeds to get better peformance in the most demanding applications.  Two of these used in an SLI configuration would be a gamer's dream, although the noise and heat output could be an issue.  ECS has solved these problems by providing the customized liquid cooling unit from ThermalTake using the BigWater 760is.  ECS hopes to make a big splash here with the Hydra pack, possibly the first of its kind to include all three components in one box.  First, we'll take a look at the specs of the GeForce 9800 GTX+ and then move onto a closer look at ECS' take on it and finally the BigWater 760is.

ATI Radeon HD 4830 Mainstream GPU

Since the RV770 GPU's initial arrival, we have seen the technology used in the GPU migrate up and down AMD's product stack. At first, the RV770 powered only the ATI Radeon HD 4850 and 4870, but soon thereafter two RV770's were linked together to form the current flagship Radeon HD 4870 X2. Then the GPU was scaled down to bring out the Radeon HD 4600, 4500, and 4300 series of products. Ultimately, AMD ended up with competitive offerings at virtually every price point, ranging from $39 on up, to over $550 for the flagship product. But there is an approximate $80 price gap between the $160-ish Radeon HD 4850 and the roughly $80 Radeon HD 4670, that AMD plans to fill today with the release of the Radeon HD 4830.

As its name suggests, this latest addition to the Radeon HD 4800 series is similar to the Radeon HD 4850. In fact, the reference designs look almost identical. The 4830 however, has had a couple of SIMD arrays disabled, and hence has fewer active stream processors and TMUs. We'll show you what other differences there are a little later. For now, check out the specs and other related information. We'll get on with the show right afterwards...

Some specifications

• PCI Express 2.0 x16
• Microsoft DirectX 10.1 support
• 55nm fabrication process
• 956 million transistor
• Shader Model 4.1
• High resolution texture support (up to 8192 x 8192)
• ATI PowerPlay
• HDMI output support
• Integrated AMD Xilleon HDTV encoder
• ATI CrossFireX Multi-GPU Technology
